MakePhotoAI provides AI-powered image processing to help users create document and passport photos that aim to meet official specifications. Our service includes background removal, facial alignment, biometric cropping, and AI-enhanced photo generation.
MakePhotoAI is an automated AI photo tool and does not guarantee that any photo generated will be accepted by any government authority, embassy, consulate, or official body. While we strive to process photos according to published official specifications (ICAO standards, country-specific requirements), the final decision on whether a photo meets acceptance criteria rests solely with the reviewing authority.
Government requirements may change without notice, and individual reviewers may apply subjective judgment. You are solely responsible for verifying that your photo meets the specific requirements of the authority to which you are submitting it. MakePhotoAI shall not be held liable for any rejection, delay, expense, or loss arising from a government authority's refusal to accept a photo generated by our service.
MakePhotoAI operates on a credit-based system. Credits are purchased via our payment provider (Paddle) and are non-transferable. Credits do not expire. Each photo generation or enhancement consumes credits as described on our pricing page. All prices are listed in USD and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required.
Credit refunds: If the AI fails to generate a usable result due to a technical error on our end (e.g., the service returns no image, or produces a significantly corrupted output), you may request a credit refund within 7 days of the failed generation by contacting [email protected].
Monetary refunds: Direct monetary refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are generally only issued when: (a) the service was completely unavailable for an extended period after purchase, or (b) a clear technical defect prevented any use of purchased credits. We do not issue refunds for dissatisfaction with AI output quality, for photos rejected by a government authority, or for credits that have already been successfully consumed to generate photos.
No refund is provided for: (i) rejection of a photo by any government authority, (ii) user error such as uploading incorrect or low-quality source images, (iii) requests made more than 7 days after purchase, or (iv) credits that have been used to generate photos regardless of whether the user chose to download them.

You retain all rights to your uploaded photos. Photos generated by our AI are provided to you for personal use. Our service, including its code, design, branding, and AI models, remains the intellectual property of MakePhotoAI.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MakePhotoAI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of profits, data, or opportunities; travel delays or missed appointments; government application rejections; or any costs arising from reliance on our service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Our service uses artificial intelligence and machine learning models to process images. AI outputs may vary and are not guaranteed to be perfect. Occasionally, AI processing may produce artifacts, minor distortions, or imperfect results. By using the service, you acknowledge and accept these inherent limitations of AI technology.
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service downtime.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

Your privacy is critical to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use MakePhotoAI.
We collect: (a) account information (email address, authentication details), (b) uploaded photos for processing, (c) transaction and credit usage records, and (d) basic usage analytics to improve our service.
Uploaded photos and generated results are stored temporarily in secured, encrypted storage. Source images and generated results are automatically deleted within 24 hours of processing.
We use facial analysis models to detect face position, alignment, and biometric compliance. This processing occurs in real-time during photo generation. We do not build biometric profiles, do not use facial data for identification or tracking, and do not share facial analysis data with any third parties.
We use third-party services for payment processing (Paddle), cloud infrastructure, and AI model hosting. These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
